For this project, I was tasked with creating a conceptual band identity using artificial intelligence as a primary tool for ideation and content generation while maintaining full creative control over the final design decisions. The objective was to explore how AI can support concept development without replacing strategy, intentionality, or visual consistency. The project began with defining the fictional band’s identity, genre, and target audience through the creation of user personas. These personas helped establish the emotional tone of the brand and guided decisions related to typography, color, and imagery. AI was used to generate early inspiration for the band’s visual direction, mood, and artist presence, which I then curated, refined, and aligned with a cohesive brand strategy. From there, I developed a logo designed to function across both print and digital platforms. The visual identity focused on balancing a polished pop aesthetic with emotional depth, using a cohesive color palette, expressive typography, and intentional layout choices. The album cover served as the foundation of the visual system and informed the design of supporting materials. To apply the identity, I designed a range of deliverables including an album cover, posters, and social media collateral. Each piece was created as part of a unified system rather than as standalone designs, ensuring consistency across platforms and realistic brand application. Social media mockups were developed to reflect how the band’s presence would function in a real world digital environment. This project demonstrates my ability to integrate emerging tools into the design process while maintaining creative direction, brand cohesion, and thoughtful execution across multiple touchpoints.
