Cosmic Frontiers - Book Cover Designs

This project involved designing a cohesive series of book covers for Cosmic Frontiers, a futuristic sci-fi novel trilogy by independent author Leonard Park. Commissioned by Stellar Odyssey Publishing, the goal was to create visually compelling covers that reflect the thrilling, imaginative essence of the stories and attract science fiction readers. Using AI-generated imagery provided by the client as background elements, I enhanced each design with custom composited visuals—such as characters, spacecraft, and alien landscapes—to build immersive scenes relevant to each book's narrative. 3D title typography, strategic layout of the author's name, and consistent branding helped unify the series visually. The back covers include author photos, book summaries, and a consistent layout style developed in Adobe InDesign. Throughout the process, I navigated the ethical and legal considerations of AI-generated artwork, ensuring the final designs were original, composite works that honored both creativity and client needs.
